I didn't even recognize his face when I first glimpsed the cd.  I don't know what caused me to stop and take a closer look.

Then I almost hyperventilated.

Michael Buble is back on my cd player with his new one; Crazy Love.

MMMmmmmmmmm.

Gooooooood.

I also bought Darius Rucker's cd; Learn to Live.  It's excellent.  I wouldn't have considered buying it but the other night I accidentally caught his show on Palladia, right after Alan Jackson's.  I had heard that Hootie had signed with a country label and that seemed really weird.  But his music is great.  In fact, he introduced one number as the first country song he ever wrote and then sang "Let Her Cry".  I guess Darius considered himself country long before Nashville did.  Anyway, I really like the cd a lot.

Interesting side note; he said that when he was with Hootie and the Blowfish he would wear a cowboy hat on stage because he thought it looked cool but now that he's with a country label, he doesn't wear a stetson anymore because it would be disrespectful of guys like Alan Jackson or George Strait, who are actual cowboys.  Darius Rucker is not a poseur.
