Amoral Superiority

"I got mine" may not be the best attitude in the world, but why do so many liberals think it's a morally inferior position to "I want yours"?

Surely the desire to reap the benefits of one's own talent, education and hard work is not as heinous a sin as theft.  But in the strange mind of a liberal, the former desire is defined as "greed" and the latter as "charity".

Here's the thing; when YOU take what is YOURS and give it to someone else, that's CHARITY.

When YOU take what is MINE and give it to someone else, that's THEFT.

"Thou Shalt Not Steal".  That's the unabridged version.  There's no tablet out there that says "Thou Shalt Not Steal Unless the Government Sanctions It Because They're Going To Give it To Someone Who Really Needs It."
