It's Tuesday, so I had to spend the morning squeezing out as much work as I could. I ran out of 13 canvas last week, so I'm stuck only doing orders that require 18. The numbers refer to how many stitches fill a linear inch, so the larger the number, the smaller the stitch size. Fortunately, I had a large order for Christmas ornaments and lucite boxes so I didn't have to take any time off. I love time off, but us self employed types don't get paid for it.
I spent an hour and a half at the shop going over new ideas for the fall. Joanne, the brilliant owner of the place has lots of great ideas. I hope she never runs out of them. If my 13 canvas ever comes, I've got lots of things to do with it. As it is, I brought home a stack of furniture that needs to be designed for and decorated.
After lunch, I played Yahtzee with my kids. They all rolled Yahtzee, including two each for Katie and Josie. Josie won the game and beat me by 204 points. I'm sure they cheated but I can't figure out how.
It's hot.
It's really hot.
I have to go to the store now and buy something that doesn't need to be cooked for dinner.
Cus it's really hot.
